Primaris Airlines

Founded in the Las Vegas area and based near McCarran International Airport in Enterprise, Nevada, Primaris Airlines reimagined what a flight could feel like. Instead of packing in as many seats as possible, we configured our Boeing 757-200 aircraft with a single, spacious business-class cabin. The result was a calmer, roomier journey for travelers and charter groups who wanted more space, more comfort, and a more personal level of service.

Most airlines split a plane into tight rows and a small premium section up front. We went the other way. Every Primaris aircraft carried a single all-business-class cabin, so there was no scramble for legroom and no second-class experience. Around 126 wide seats filled a jet that often holds far more, which meant generous personal space, easy aisles, and a quiet, settled feel from the moment you stepped aboard. It was a premium idea made simple: treat the whole plane like the front of the plane.

Our aircraft of choice was the Boeing 757-200, a long, powerful twin-jet known for its strong climb and long-range reach. We outfitted each one in a single business-class layout, trading a packed economy cabin for wide seats and room to stretch. In late 2006 our fleet earned 180-minute ETOPS approval, a certification that allows twin-engine jets to fly longer over-water and remote routes, which opened the door to destinations a typical short-haul charter could not reach.

Primaris served leisure travelers and charter groups across the country and beyond. One of our signature services was the Kona Shuttle, connecting Oakland, California with Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, giving West Coast travelers a comfortable, business-class hop to the islands. Beyond scheduled leisure runs, the airline operated as a charter carrier, arranging full-aircraft trips for groups who wanted the whole cabin to themselves. Routes were planned around comfort and reach, not crowds.

Comfort was only half of it. Primaris held full FAA Part 121 certification, the same operating standard required of the major U.S. airlines, and built its reputation on professional crews and a careful, by-the-book approach to safety and service. From the Nevada home base to every destination on the map, the goal was the same: a smooth, dignified, unhurried way to travel that felt closer to a private cabin than a packed commercial flight.
